I spent a great fun evening photographing all of the Virgin Vacations guests upon arrival in the UK for their Christmas break. Whilst some of them had been traveling for hours and only had thought s of sleep, they soon found a second wind when they saw they were to be greeted by Kate and Will (lookalilkes!). The queue began to get longer and some people even went around three or four times to get another picture with them.
The following day they were going Christmas shopping in London as well as taking in the famous London landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. They will also see Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece, St. Paul's Cathedral and enjoy a leisurely cruise on the River Thames for views of Shakespeare's Globe, Cleopatra's Needle and London Bridge.
But the highlight of the trip was surely a private cocktail reception at Highclere, where Virgin Vacations' travelers were guests at a benefit hosted by the castle's owners, the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon.
Great times and fun was had by all.
