Fencing Photography

It is always difficult to take live action pictures of fencing and retain any detail in who is taking part. It would be much easier to light it in a studio but that is not always an option, and the powerful strobes can be off putting in a bout. Here is an example of College fencing where the elements come together to allow a dynamic image which also retains the identity of the sportsman.
